KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – An off-duty Kalamazoo Public Safety detective helped other officers to arrest a man she saw pulling a gun on a woman while the detective was running in the Zeigler Kalamazoo Marathon Sunday morning.
Officers found the 22-year-old man hiding under a boat in a backyard on Chevy Chase Boulevard less than a mile from where the detective saw him pull the gun.
They found over 20 packages of suspected cocaine in his jacket and found the handgun in the car.
He is facing multiple charges.
